A heart is one of the vital organs in all the living organism because it takes the de-oxygenated blood from the cell and pumps out the oxygenated blood to the cell of the body. If it gets fail, you and your body cell will die immediately. Hence nothing is more important than having a healthy heart. These days due to the consumption of fast food or oily food the change of getting the problem in the heart is very high. Here in this blog I’m going to share benefits of drinking water on heart.

Benefits Of Drinking Water On Heart

Sufficient amount of water in body can keep your body & heart healthier. Heart continuously pump the blood and never take rest. On an average, your heart pumps around 2,000 gallons blood per day. A well-hydrated heart does this job quickly. A hydrated heart works smoothly & pump the blood gently because the hydration allows the muscle to work better.

The human body contains estimated 60-65% of water in the body, and your blood cell includes more than 80% of water then the loss of water in your body makes the blood denser or thicker even loss of 1% of body weight in term of water made you dehydrated. The dehydration makes your blood more viscous, so the heart faces problem in pumping the blood. During the dehydration condition, the amount of the blood circulating through the body or blood volume decreases which can be harmful to the cell to overcome this problem heart start beating fast or increase your heart rate.

How much Water is Sufficient For Healthy Heart?

WHO recommended that we consume 10-20% of daily required minerals from the drinking water. Our body absorb minerals from drinking water 30% easier than it does form food. So drinking water can be beneficial for your health.

Drinking water is good for health but how much water is sufficient is a big question. The amount of drinking water depends on factors such as age, the gender of other activities. Several studies say that an adult or mature man drink 3-4 liters of water every day whereas an adult female drink on an average of 2-3 liters of water every day.

But before drinking water, you need to ensure that it is adequately treated by water purification system because these days most of the water bodies are contaminated which may lead to the other fatal diseases. The disease which occurs due to the drinking of contaminated water is called waterborne diseases (also read death cause by waterborne diseases in India in recent 5 years). There are various types of water filter system available in the Indian market which can bring contamination free water for the drinking purpose.

Hydration is not only crucial during physical activity; it is also essential when you’re sitting outside in the sun on the hot or humid day. In that case, you also need more fluids even you aren’t exercising. Hence it is beneficial to drink more amount of water to lower the change of heart issues.

Link Between Water, Hypertension & High Cholesterol

High blood or hypertension is a severe condition in the medical. If it left untreated then it may result in severe heart diseases, kidney failure, stroke, and several other illnesses. Increased in the concentration of cholesterol can also increase the chance of suffering from the stroke, heart attack, and other serious diseases. But this medical condition can be lower by drinking enough water.

For a healthy heart, you not only need to drink sufficient amount of water but also you need to perform some exercise including yoga, walking, running, etc. A healthy heart is the sign of good healthy hence do protect your health.
